We all have the ability to imagine a product which could enhance our own quality of life, but have you ever thought about how it could benefit other people too? This fun and thought provoking package gives participants the opportunity to physically create and market their idea and find out if the Dragon’s think it’s something worth investing in.
Given a set amount of equipment, teams must work together to invent, design and build a new product for the marketplace – then present their prototype before an investment committee.
Products must be unique, original and useful. They must also have a name. During their presentation, teams will explain how their product works, what the unique selling point is, what the price will be, as well as expected sales figures for the first year.
Having learnt the value of planning for success, as well as strengthening negotiation skills, teams then face a tense wait to discover whether their product has received the backing of the panel.
As an optional extra, we offer an evening entertainment add on, where the products designed during the day time session are be presented to the dragons over dinner (between courses).
